Seller ect balance between style and not having the wear full walking boots. I'm a UK 10 and these fit perfectly, perhaps a little snug maybe, I am not sure why others say that you need to consider 1 size different. These are the second pair of Merrell shoes I've bought; I found the first at a sale in a department store. They are very good quality, especially at the price, and are comfortable to wear for long periods. I work in London, and wear these to work - they cope with walking distance without chafing, are nicely padded, and most importantly don't slip when it's raining.Highly recommended - I'm buying another pair as I write this. Bought these as a gift for my husband as he only wears Merrell shoes as he finds them the most comfortable. Although I like the design of them, the quality and workmanship leaves a little to be desired (which is unusual for Merrell) as there is quite a lot of glue around the edging. I also don't think they are going to last as long as his previous pa Bratislava hollister stores uk e becoming dangerous to walk in. By 11 months I decided to call Amazon anyway and, without quibble, they agreed to refund me and arranged for the shoes to be collected. Three cheers for Amazon! What really annoys me is that the cheap trainers I used to buy would last 2-3 years. I still have the previous pair and they look newer than the Merrells! The Merrells looked old by six months and I had stopped wearing them in public. The soft felt-type material on the outside started wearing off alarmingly quickly. This did not happen to my old trainers and I still don't know if it's just from walking through grass or from kneeling down in them, but I have not u.
kite best er run around the world????!'' 'I think so....'Charting her day to day survival and her existence in temperatures of -30, its an incredibly moving and inspiring read, certainly stopped me whinging for a few weeks! An incredible feat. Its funny but there are a few reviews on here criticising her writing skills of the lack of reflection into her emotional state throughout the run, personally I found myself glad that the book is'nt full of self pitying drivel (it could justifiably be!) her detachment from her emotions, lack of constant rumination and absolute focus on ensuring that her kit and food were priority were probably her escape from that crushing grief (we all feel like running away sometimes)and her message of raising cancer awareness was a moving tribute and a real act of love for the husband she has lost and the ones that she hopes to save by raising that awareness.Yes at times her hyper positivity and her glowing descriptions of everyone a little tiring (occasionally you'd quite like her to stick 2 fing www.otlive.co.uk eathtaking, but it is noticeable - you are going to get hot feet on a summers day in both shoes, but the non-goretex one is best. The variants look very similar except that this one has grey around the ankle, whereas the goretex one has black in that area (and a little metal 'GoreTex' tag half way along the shoe).I note that the title is hiking 'boot'. Obviously, from the picture, it isn't a boot - it is a shoe - as it has no ankle support. If you are doing serious hiking you should get a proper boot with ankle support, but for day hiking in light/intermediate terrain, or just casual wear, this is a great shoe.
I'd never heard of Merrells until I got these shoes on a recommendation. First I was impressed on my commutes to central London - amazed how easy the journey was because the shoe was so light and comfortable. These are now my shoes of choice, especially when out walking in the hills and by the river. Try them.
For years I have been looking for hiking shoes that fit properly, shoes that are comfortable, shoes that are durable and shoes that are good value.I'd have paid ten times the price for s www.otlive.co.uk ace - i hate tight shoes - very happy!
Pretty and comfortable. Will be a great summer shoe with its neutral colour.
These boots were well packed and arrived quickly. I wore them twice into town to 'break them in' as they felt quite stiff. The third outing was into the woods and they performed really well; comfortable and good support. I walked through leafy slush and mud and climbed granite rocks and the sole worked well, clinging to the varied surfaces with no slipping. All round, a really good boot and looks good too!
These are a well made boot for the price. They are light yet sturdy and put together well, much better than the equivalent version for men. The grip is good and I've no doubt they'll last.
excellent boots. was a bit worried as someone else had said they were small, but I am a regular size 5 and these are great, even with slightly thicker walking socks.
Returning my bo.
